Adventurous Producer Dylan Efron Swims with Sharks, Seeks Killer Whales

As of October 1st, 2025, producer and television personality Dylan Efron is still more comfortable exploring the great outdoors than being in the spotlight. Although he made his debut on "Dancing with the Stars" last year, Efron admits he has "always avoided the spotlight" and found the experience of holding a microphone on stage to be a "fear of the unknown."

However, Efron's adventurous spirit is one of his greatest assets. Growing up in San Luis Obispo, California, he often took the area's world-class natural views for granted, but his love of the outdoors has only expanded since. Efron is an avid rock climber, and he recently partnered with Marriott Bonvoy to create the "Drop Pin Challenge," where fellow adventurers can find physical pins worth 10,000 points across 20 outdoor destinations in North America.

Looking ahead, Efron's next bucket list item is to swim with killer whales, having already conquered the challenge of swimming with tiger sharks and hammerheads in the Bahamas.
