Priyanka Mohan: No Time for Trolls, Full Speed Ahead

Priyanka Mohan, who debuted in Tamil cinema with 'Doctor' in 2021, is now navigating a more confident period in her career, with limited patience for online trolls. Her recent film, 'Made In Korea', marked her first leading role, a venture she initially felt skeptical about but ultimately embraced due to the compelling story and involvement of a major OTT platform. She highlighted that while pressure exists in any role, leading a film brought a significant sense of responsibility.

Mohan also shared her experience confronting fake AI-generated images that falsely appeared to be from her Telugu film 'They Call Him OG'. She expressed shock at the realism and the potential for misinformation, stressing the unacceptability of such vulgar content and advocating for a safer society. She aims to be part of amazing stories, driven by her passion for acting and the vibrant atmosphere of film sets.

Reflecting on her collaborations, Mohan recalled being surprised when Dhanush asked her to feature in a song for 'Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam', but his assurance about the song's context, related to a marriage theme, convinced her. She also expressed gratitude for the success of her biggest theatrical release to date, Pawan Kalyan's 'They Call Him OG', acknowledging the immense euphoria of First Day First Show events in Telugu states. Her current projects include a Kavin-starrer in Tamil and the Kannada film '666 Operation Dream Theatre' alongside Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya, where she admires the director's filmography and Shivarajkumar's infectious enthusiasm.
