Sukumaran is preparing for his role as Kombha, the primary antagonist in S.S. Rajamouli's ambitious epic adventure film, 'Varanasi'.
The film, slated for release on April 7, 2027, promises a grand narrative spanning different eras, from Treta Yuga to Kali Yuga. It combines mythology, adventure, and a looming asteroid threat, with Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in significant roles. Prithviraj described his character, Kombha, as layered and unpredictable, requiring him to convey emotion through facial expressions due to limited physical movement.
