Princess Diana's Secret Tabloid Habit Exposed

Princess Diana maintained a hidden habit of reading tabloids, according to her longtime hairdresser Richard Dalton. Dalton, who worked with Diana from 1981 to 1990, disclosed that he would smuggle the publications into Kensington Palace for her, as she was officially not permitted to access them. He described her reactions to her own coverage, noting she would often become annoyed and discard the papers.

Dalton recounted that Diana would express dismay at certain tabloid stories. One persistent rumor that particularly troubled the Princess of Wales was the unfounded speculation questioning Prince Harry's biological father. Dalton stated that these rumors caused significant distress to both himself and Diana, asserting that Prince Charles is indeed Harry's father.
