Prince William tried to remove Travis Kelce from Taylor Swift selfie

In June 2024, Prince William attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at London's Wembley Stadium with his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. During the event, William, Swift, and her then-boyfriend Travis Kelce posed for a selfie, which Swift later shared on Instagram. This image marked the first public photograph of Swift and Kelce together. William, however, admitted on The Graham Norton Show that he initially tried to exclude Kelce from the photo, as he wanted a picture solely with Swift and his children. Kelce repeatedly re-entered the frame, much to William's confusion at the time. This encounter was not the first time William had met Swift; they first met at a 2013 Centrepoint charity gala where William joined Swift and Jon Bon Jovi on stage to sing "Livin' on a Prayer." In a separate instance, William appeared on the "New Heights" podcast in July 2026, discussing a potential trip to the US if England reached the World Cup final and recalling his meeting with Swift and Kelce in May 2026.
