Prime Video Cancels Teen Rock Band Drama

Prime Video has officially ended its run for the teen rock band drama, "The Runarounds," canceling the series after its first season. The show, which premiered last September, centered on a tight-knit group of high school graduates in Wilmington, North Carolina.

These aspiring musicians formed the titular band, dedicating one unforgettable summer to chasing their dreams. Their journey involved falling in love, navigating trouble, and forging deep, family-like bonds. The cast included real-life musicians William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, and Jesse Golliher. Lilah Pate also starred as Sophia, a love interest.

Jonas Pate, the creator of the popular series "Outer Banks," developed "The Runarounds." The freshman season consisted of eight episodes. News of the cancellation follows its debut, leaving fans to wonder if their favorite band will get another chance.
