Spain Hosts Premios Juventud in Historic First

The Premios Juventud awards ceremony is set to make its European debut on September 3 in Marbella, Spain, marking a significant expansion for the event. This year, the awards are evolving into a week-long entertainment platform known as PJ Fest, which will feature a variety of activities including concerts, parties, immersive experiences, and digital content. These festivities are scheduled to take place in Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, and Marbella leading up to the main awards ceremony. PJ Fest represents the most ambitious transformation in the history of Premios Juventud, dedicating itself to music, content creators, Latin culture, and the broader entertainment landscape. The 2026 edition will celebrate a diverse range of talent, with 338 artists nominated across 50 categories. These nominations span musicians, television productions, streaming platforms, digital creators, and pop culture figures, reflecting the dynamic nature of contemporary entertainment. Carín León leads with nine nominations, closely followed by Beéle, Kany García, and Rauw Alejandro with seven each. Numerous other prominent artists, including Shakira, Karol G, Bad Bunny, and Rosalía, have also received multiple nominations, competing in categories for top artists, albums, songs, collaborations, and tours. A notable addition this year is the 'Creator de España' category, introduced to recognize Spanish digital creators and strengthen cultural ties between Spain and Latin America. The festival's events commence on August 29 in Miami with a Bresh Party, followed by 'El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo Fest' in Houston on August 30. Miami will host a private concert by Jay Wheeler on August 31, while Los Angeles will feature an exclusive event with Piso 21 on September 1. The ViX Música Sessions will take place on September 2, featuring Morat. The main Premios Juventud ceremony will be broadcast live on September 3 from the Starlite Amphitheater in Marbella.
