A new comedy-drama, Prem Keetanu, is slated for a global theatrical launch on October 2, 2026. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, known for his work on "Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai" and "Aspirants," the film features an ensemble cast including Veer Pahariya, Aparshakti Khurana, Aafiya Sayed, and Nikhil Vijay.
The narrative of Prem Keetanu centers on a group of young men grappling with the quintessential experiences of college life: friendships, romantic pursuits, and the inevitable heartbreaks. The makers describe the characters as individuals who found more companionship and heartbreaks than academic success or romantic fulfillment.
This film marks the inaugural project under Gaurav Verma's new production banner, Avanika Films, with Phars Film serving as a co-presenter. The movie promises to resonate deeply with contemporary youth, offering a blend of humor and pathos that also aims to trigger fond memories for older audiences, connecting their past experiences with the aspirations of future generations.
