Bollywood's romance landscape is expanding with the highly anticipated rom-com 'Prem Keetanu', featuring new on-screen couple Veer Pahariya and Aafiya Sayed. The film is a Hindi adaptation of the widely acclaimed 2024 Malayalam movie 'Premalu'.
This adaptation is set to introduce Aafiya Sayed, niece of producer Sajid Nadiadwala, to Hindi cinema. The story is reimagined within the UP-NCR region, retaining the coming-of-age themes and youthful relationships of the original while adapting them to a North Indian context.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, 'Prem Keetanu' also features supporting actors Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi, and Nikhil Vijay. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2.
