Preity Zinta: Actor's Pride Amidst Film's Box Office Flop

Preity Zinta is proud of her recent film, 'Batwara 1947', despite its underperformance at the box office. This project marked her return to acting after an eight-year hiatus.

Zinta shared in an interview that while she invests her full effort into every role, the ultimate success of a film is beyond an actor's control. She believes in focusing on one's actions and leaving the results to fate.

'Batwara 1947', directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, also featured Shabana Azmi and Karan Deol. Azmi also recently commented on the film's surprising box office outcome, noting that audiences who saw it often praised it, yet it failed to attract viewers.

Zinta's next project, 'Vibe', is set to release on September 18 and will compete with Kareena Kapoor Khan's 'Daayra'.
