Predator Lives! Director Reassures Fans on Franchise Future

Director Dan Trachtenberg has quelled fears regarding the future of the Predator franchise following his announcement of a new first-look deal with Paramount. Although the rights to Predator are held by Disney, Trachtenberg clarified that his new arrangement does not preclude him from directing further installments in the sci-fi series.

Trachtenberg revealed that he is actively developing multiple future plans for Predator. He described his current creative state as akin to the period before "Prey" was released, filled with numerous exciting ideas for the franchise. This includes potential projects that were initially considered for simultaneous development.

Alongside these Predator endeavors, Trachtenberg expressed his enthusiasm for the new opportunities at Paramount. He is eager to bring original film concepts he has long envisioned to fruition with the studio. While acknowledging that scheduling might influence the timeline of certain projects, Trachtenberg emphasized that both his Predator ambitions and his new Paramount commitments are dear to him.
