'Predator: Badlands' Tops Global Box Office with $80M Haul

According to the latest box office data, the Hollywood blockbuster 'Predator: Badlands' has emerged as the top-grossing film globally, earning a total of $80 million. The 20th Century Studios release debuted at #1 in China over the November 3-9 weekend, raking in RMB52.5 million ($7.4 million).
In the Chinese market, the comedy-drama 'Row to Win' from PMF Pictures held the second spot, adding $2.2 million to its $60.6 million total. The film, directed by Ma Lin and starring Huang Bo, follows a coastal-town family who rally together during hard times.
Last week's top performer, the thriller 'Her Turn' from Maoyan Movie, ranked third, earning $2.1 million for a $8.9 million cume after two weeks. Directed by Cheng Yanan, the film follows a partially paralyzed woman who uncovers long-buried secrets and a revenge plot upon returning to her family's remote mansion.
Other notable releases include the romantic drama 'The Sun Rises On Us All' from Mint Pictures, which opened in fourth place with $1.8 million, and the quirky 'Penguin Girl' from 66cc Co. Ltd., which debuted in fifth with $1.6 million.
Overall, the Chinese box office generated $21.7 million in revenue for the November 3-9 period, on par with the previous week. The country's year-to-date box office tally for 2025 now stands at $6.32 billion, up 15.3% compared to the same period last year.
