Lyricist Prasoon Joshi reflected on creativity and artificial intelligence at the second season of NDTV Creators' Manch. He shared a pivotal career moment, recalling how a letter from Amitabh Bachchan changed his trajectory.
Joshi's breakthrough came from a tribute he wrote to the resilient women of the mountains. Inspired by his grandmother's strength, he penned a song capturing their spirit, which unexpectedly reached Amitabh Bachchan.
This recognition led to his first film song opportunity for the movie Lajja. Joshi stressed that genuine creativity arises from lived experiences and emotions, aspects he believes artificial intelligence cannot fully replicate.
He elaborated that AI can process data but lacks the depth of human experience that shapes profound artistic expression. Joshi noted that the most impactful art comes from personal memories and unspoken feelings.
