Sources indicate that creative disagreements between Prakash Raj and the filmmaking team, specifically concerning the script and the execution of a scene, led to a "heated disagreement."
This exit follows a previous significant casting alteration. Actress Deepika Padukone had also exited Spirit earlier, citing scheduling and requirement issues, and was subsequently replaced by Triptii Dimri. The film, which is one of the most ambitious South Indian projects, is expected to be released by March 2027, although production timelines have seen adjustments.
