The film's delay is strategic, aiming to avoid direct competition with other promising releases scheduled for July and August 2026. These include Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Batwara 1947, and Awarapan 2, all slated for release shortly before or after Prahaar's initial date.
Prahaar is based on the life of prominent special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.
