Capcom has officially announced that its highly anticipated sci-fi shooter, Pragmata, will launch on April 24, 2026. The game is slated for release on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. A playable demo is available now on Steam, with console versions to follow.
Originally revealed in 2020 with a planned 2022 release, Pragmata faced multiple delays. This extended development period is attributed to it being the inaugural title in a new franchise, with Capcom prioritizing a polished final product. The game immerses players in a dystopian near-future.
Players will control dual protagonists: Hugh Williams, a heavily armored soldier, and Diana, an android with special abilities. Their mission is to escape a lunar research station overrun by hostile robots. Diana's hacking skills will be crucial for disabling enemy defenses, creating openings for Hugh's attacks.
