Actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan has officially ventured into film production with the establishment of his banner, PR Show. The company's inaugural full-fledged production, tentatively named PRS01, commenced its principal photography on Monday, celebrated with a special announcement video. This new film brings together a notable cast, including Mamitha Baiju, Pradeep's co-star from Dude, and Ashwath Marimuthu, director of Dharman.
PSS01 features Mamitha Baiju and Ashwath Marimuthu in leading roles, supported by Swasika, debutant Anamika Mahi, and Telugu actor Sivaji Sontineni. The directorial responsibilities are handled by the Alpha Unit, a collective of six filmmakers. Pradeep Ranganathan himself has penned the story for the film.
The music for PRS01 is composed by Sai Abhyankkar, marking a reunion after their work on Dude. A track titled 'Aane Wala Star' has been released. While reports suggest a women-centric narrative and Ashwath Marimuthu playing a police officer, these details await official confirmation. The film is slated for release in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
