Filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan is gearing up for his next directorial venture, where he will also take the lead role. Producer Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment officially announced that the film is planned for a 2026 release, with shooting commencing within the same year. This project signifies Ranganathan's third collaboration with AGS.
Ranganathan's recent performance in the film Dude, co-starring Mamitha Baiju, garnered significant commercial success, crossing Rs 100 crore globally. This achievement follows his previous successes with Love Today and Dragon, solidifying his status as a popular actor.
Meanwhile, other projects from AGS are also in development, including collaborations with director Ashwath Marimuthu and actor Silambarasan. Another film starring Arjun, Abhirami, and Preity Mukhundhan is anticipated for an early next year release, while Ranganathan's delayed film, Love Insurance Kompany, is also awaiting its eventual release.
