Prabhas's Raja Saab Box Office Plummets on Day 2

Prabhas's latest film, 'The Raja Saab,' witnessed a significant decline in its box office collections on its second day. After an impressive opening, the film earned Rs 27.83 crore on its second day, marking a sharp fall from the Rs 53.75 crore collected on the first day. This performance has brought the film's two-day net collection in India to Rs 90.73 crore and its worldwide total to Rs 138.4 crore, with Rs 30 crore attributed to overseas markets.

The film's performance varies significantly by language. The Telugu version is leading the collections, contributing Rs 22.38 crore on the second day and a total of Rs 78.68 crore over two days. In contrast, the Hindi version earned Rs 5.2 crore on the second day, accumulating Rs 11.2 crore overall. Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions have garnered much smaller amounts, indicating that the Telugu market is the primary driver of the film's success.

Audience reception to 'The Raja Saab' has been mixed to negative. Reviews point to a promising fantasy concept that suffers from weak storytelling and poor execution, with some describing the filmmaking style as reminiscent of older Telugu cinema. While some moments were deemed watchable, many viewers expressed disappointment, feeling that the strong concept was not effectively translated onto the screen and that the lead actor appeared disengaged.
