Prabhas's recent release, 'The Raja Saab', has generated considerable excitement, with reports indicating the star voluntarily reduced his remuneration by 33%. This significant pay cut, from his usual Rs 150 crore to approximately Rs 100 crore, was reportedly made to enhance the film's budget for production quality, including sets and visual effects.
The film experienced a robust opening on January 9, 2026, grossing around Rs 54 crore on its first day. This strong debut positioned it favorably among other releases. However, it did not surpass the opening day collection of Prabhas's previous blockbuster, 'Kalki 2898 AD', which earned Rs 191 crore.
Details regarding the fees of other cast members have also surfaced. Malavika Mohanan reportedly received Rs 2 crore, while Sanjay Dutt earned Rs 5-6 crore. Boman Irani, Nidhi Agarwal, and Riddhi Kumar each received approximately Rs 1 crore, and veteran comedian Brahmanandam earned Rs 80 lakh.
