Prabhas' 'Spirit' May Miss March 2027 Release Date

Prabhas' highly anticipated cop action drama, 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, may not meet its initially announced release date of March 5, 2027. Recent reports suggest that the filmmakers are now considering a later release window for the project. This potential delay comes as Prabhas' other upcoming film, 'Fauzi', is also rumored to be experiencing adjustments to its release schedule.

While the production team behind 'Spirit' has not officially confirmed the postponement or provided an updated release date, the news has generated significant buzz. Earlier this year, March 5, 2027, was publicized as the definitive release date. Filming for 'Spirit' was reportedly progressing, with a substantial portion of the shooting completed, yet current plans appear to be evolving.

'Spirit' marks the first collaboration between actor Prabhas and director Vanga. Prabhas is slated to portray a police officer with a distinctive trait. The film's ensemble cast includes Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, and Prakash Raj. The first look revealed Prabhas in a rugged appearance alongside Triptii Dimri.

Meanwhile, 'Fauzi', a period action film starring Prabhas and helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, was initially slated for a December 2026 release and is now reportedly targeting March 18, 2027. The proximity of these potential release dates for 'Fauzi' and 'Spirit' could necessitate further strategic adjustments to Prabhas' filmography release plan.
