Prabhas' Fauzi Expands into Two-Part Saga, Prequel Planned

In a significant development, Mythri Movie Makers has confirmed that Prabhas' upcoming film Fauzi will unfold as a two-part cinematic series. The announcement comes shortly after the unveiling of the project's striking title poster, which introduced the superstar in a fierce, uniformed avatar as a soldier of the Azad Hind Force.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the collaboration reunites Prabhas with the acclaimed filmmaker behind the recent period drama Sita Ramam. Described as a fictionalised retelling inspired by historical events, Fauzi aims to explore lesser-known moments from India's colonial era through an expansive storyline.

According to Raghavapudi, the narrative has been designed to span two films, with the second installment serving as a prequel that expands the universe further. The director has emphasized his commitment to portraying freedom fighters in an uplifting manner, aiming to celebrate their courage and conviction as aspirational icons rather than solely through a sombre lens.
