Power Universe Series Stream Globally on Netflix
27 Jul
Summary
- Four Power series head to Netflix internationally starting November.
- Starz will retain exclusive US broadcasting rights.
- Original 'Power' series to be available on both platforms in the US.
Starting in November, Netflix will begin streaming four acclaimed series from the "Power" universe internationally. This expansion is due to a new multiyear global agreement between Netflix and Lionsgate Television.
The partnership will bring "Power," "Power Book II: Ghost," "Power Book III: Raising Kanan," and "Power Book IV: Force" to Netflix subscribers outside of the United States and Canada. This move signifies a significant global distribution for the franchise.
While Netflix gains international access, Starz will continue to be the exclusive home for the Power universe within the U.S. The original "Power" series will be an exception, available on both Starz and Netflix in the United States starting in November.
Future installments, such as "Power: Origins" and "Power: Legacy," are not included in this specific licensing deal. The "Power" franchise is a collaborative production involving Lionsgate Television, with executive producers including Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, and Mark Canton.
