Dominic Rains, formerly of Chicago Med, has been cast in a recurring role on "Power: Origins," the latest expansion of the "Power" Universe. The series is actively in production in New York and New Jersey. "Power: Origins" centers on the early lives of James "Ghost" St. James and Tommy Egan, portrayed by Spence Moore II and Charlie Mann respectively. Mekai Curtis reprises his role as Kanan Stark, continuing from "Raising Kanan." Rains will play Detective Fred Drexel, assigned to a complex NYPD investigation.
