Porsha Williams has accused her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, of employing deceptive practices amid their ongoing court battle. Guobadia has sought to dismiss the defamation lawsuit he initiated against the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star. This lawsuit, filed in November 2024, stemmed from Williams' social media posts that Guobadia alleged falsely implied he suffered from erectile dysfunction, causing him business and emotional distress.

Williams and her legal team have denied these claims, asserting her posts did not refer to any specific individual. Guobadia, who reportedly faced deportation from the United States in 2025, cited his immigration issues as a reason for seeking dismissal. Williams, however, argued that the case should proceed and that Guobadia should be responsible for her legal expenses, accusing him of dragging out the proceedings and failing to comply with discovery.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star further highlighted that Guobadia's deportation followed a court finding that he used deceptive practices to fraudulently enter the U.S. Her legal filings detailed that these tactics included lying about his identity and concealing previous convictions to re-enter the country. The court has yet to make a ruling on Williams' request for legal fees.
