Pokémon Champions, initially launched on Nintendo Switch, has now made its debut on iOS and Android devices as of earlier this week. This mobile iteration offers a more accessible and portable battling experience, fitting seamlessly into daily routines whether commuting or relaxing.

The game is praised for its minimal microtransactions, allowing players to enjoy a robust free-to-play model. While optional purchases like extra storage and a Battle Pass exist, they primarily offer cosmetic rewards, ensuring no gameplay advantages are locked behind a paywall. Players can enhance their experience by transferring Pokémon from Pokémon Go or mainline entries via Pokémon Home.

To celebrate the mobile launch, all players who log in by September 1 will receive a free gift: the Pokémon Raichu along with its Pokémon Legends Z-A DLC Mega Stones. This allows for mega evolution into either Mega Raichu X or Mega Raichu Y, with Mega Raichu Y proving to be a powerful asset in the current doubles meta due to its speed and offensive capabilities.
