The Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning medical drama, The Pitt, is now accessible on HBO Max in the UK. The series features lead actor Noah Wyle in the role of Dr. Robinavitch, bringing him back to the intense world of emergency medicine decades after his breakout performance as Dr. Carter in the beloved series ER.
This month also marks the 400th anniversary of the death of Elizabethan composer John Dowland. To commemorate this occasion, a special weekend dedicated to his music will be held at London's Wigmore Hall. Musicians Iestyn Davies and Elizabeth Kenny are scheduled to perform.
The discussion also touches upon contemporary opera, questioning the necessity of new narratives. This topic is explored through a conversation with John Berry, former artistic director of the English National Opera, and playwright Mark Ravenhill.
