Phoebe Dynevor is slated to star in the new Amazon International series 'Dirty,' an eight-episode drama set to stream on Prime Video. The show, created by Matt Charman, is set in Manchester, England.

'Dirty' follows a mother and daughter who serve on the police force, with their professional relationship creating significant obstacles. Dynevor, a native of Manchester, reportedly felt a strong connection to the script, which aims to make the city a character in itself.

Charman drew inspiration for the series from observing the close relationship between his own wife and daughter, pondering the dynamics if that closeness was challenged, particularly within law enforcement. Dynevor was Charman's first choice for the daughter role after he was impressed by her performance in 'Fair Game.'

Dynevor's recent projects include Lionsgate's 'Anniversary' and Netflix's 'Thrash.' Her upcoming slate also features 'Famous' with Zac Efron, M. Night Shyamalan's 'Remain' with Jake Gyllenhaal, and a thriller with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Norman Reedus. The search for the actress to play Dynevor's mother is currently underway.
