Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the beloved reality series 'Duck Dynasty,' secretly included his daughter, Phyllis Robertson Thomas, in his substantial $15 million will. Phyllis discovered her paternal connection through a DNA test conducted in 2019.
This revelation stemmed from an extramarital affair Phil Robertson had before his Christian conversion. He acknowledged the affair, stating it was "amazing to see what beauty God can bring out of our messes."
Phyllis not only met her father but also her four half-brothers and Phil's wife, Kay. While Phil embraced her, reports indicated some initial family members expressed skepticism.
Robertson passed away at age 79 after battling Alzheimer's disease and a blood disorder. His daughter's inclusion in his will was a final testament to his acceptance.
