Gallagher, who also labeled Collins "the antichrist of music," is being inducted with Oasis.

Collins, who will not be performing due to health reasons, finds humor in the situation. He revealed to Mojo that he plans to attend the inductees' lunch. Collins theorizes that Gallagher's strong negative reaction might have been inspired by the Genesis song "Mama," with its distinctive "ha-ha-ha... oww" vocalizations and dramatic lighting effects.

Adding another layer to the familial discord, Collins shared that his daughter, actress Lily Collins, once inquired with Noel's brother, Liam Gallagher, about their animosity.
