Pharoah, widely recognized for his tenure on Saturday Night Live from 2010 to 2016, is now the host of Fox's unique game show, The Quiz With Balls. He revealed that discussions with Fox about a hosting opportunity had been ongoing for several years.
The show, which debuted in May 2024, presents families on an elevated platform above a pool. They face a multiple-choice quiz where incorrect answers result in a plunge into the water. This unique format has earned it the distinction of being the 'wettest game show on television.'
Currently airing its third season, The Quiz With Balls blends the physical comedy of Wipeout with the family-friendly competition of Family Feud. The latest season, filmed in Belgium and produced by Eureka and Talpa Studios, introduces new games, including the high-stakes 'Do or Die Round,' aiming to provide more chances for contestants to catch up.
