Ex-Bachelor Producer Claims Peter Weber's Mom Gave Marriage Blessing

Weeks after releasing her memoir, 'The Love Producer,' former Bachelor producer Julie LaPlaca has shared more details about her relationship with Peter Weber. LaPlaca revealed that Weber's mother, Barbara Figarola Weber, allegedly gave her and Peter her 'full blessing' to marry.

This occurred after Weber's on-screen engagement concluded and before his split from Hannah Ann Sluss. LaPlaca recounted that Barbara expressed to her father her hope they would become 'the best in-laws.' This encouragement, coupled with public speculation, led LaPlaca to question the nature of her connection with Weber.

Weber, however, has publicly pushed back against LaPlaca's memoir. He stated he asked her multiple times not to share intimate details, feeling it was wrong to write about him after influencing his headspace during filming. LaPlaca, in turn, suggested Weber might have unresolved issues from the show.
