Telly personality Pete Wicks has announced the passing of his cherished French bulldog, Peggy. The news comes several weeks after Wicks shared that Peggy had been undergoing 'months of treatment' for a serious health condition. He revealed the sad news on his podcast, 'Staying Relevant,' explaining that Peggy died approximately a month prior to the recording.

Wicks shared that his other dog, Eric, has been experiencing loneliness since Peggy's absence, which is why Eric accompanied him for the podcast recording. He had initially kept Peggy's passing private but decided to share it as he knew fans would inquire about her whereabouts. Wicks had previously described Peggy as a fighter, expressing optimism about her recovery despite the lengthy treatment ahead.

Reflecting on a challenging year, Wicks admitted he spent his Christmas Day alone with Eric, contemplating a future adoption. Having spent time at a dog rehoming center for his U series, he acknowledged the desire to welcome another dog but stressed the importance of finding the right companion for both himself and his older dog, Eric.
