"Perfect Holiday" Sequel Arrives

A highly anticipated German comedy sequel, "The Perfect Holiday," is currently in post-production and slated for a theatrical release in October. This film marks the sole local sequel to the successful "The Perfect Secret," which was itself an adaptation of the global hit "Perfect Strangers."

Directed by Bora Dagtekin, known for his successful comedies featuring Elyas M'Barek, "The Perfect Holiday" boasts an impressive ensemble cast. This includes M'Barek himself, alongside Karoline Herfurth, Florian David Fitz, Jella Haase, Frederick Lau, Wotan Wilke Möhring, and Jessica Schwarz.

International sales for the film are being managed by Picture Tree International, which will offer a first look at a teaser during the Cannes Market. They also plan to offer "The Perfect Holiday" as a package deal with another film, leveraging the strong brand recognition of its source material. Constantin Film, a major German distributor, will handle the domestic release.
