As October 2025 approaches, HBO Max is gearing up to release several major new shows and films for its subscribers. One of the most highly anticipated premieres is "It: Welcome to Derry," which returns viewers to the horror world of Stephen King's Pennywise the Clown, once again portrayed by actor Bill Skarsgård.
Fans of comedian Tim Robinson will also be excited to see the "I Think You Should Leave" star lead another series this month. Robinson co-created "The Chair Company" with Zach Kanin, and the show will dive deep into an office-set conspiracy. The first episode was directed by Andrew DeYoung, who previously worked with Robinson on the film "Friendship."
In addition to these two big-name releases, HBO Max has several other new offerings for horror fans this Halloween season. The platform will begin streaming the 2025 film "Bring Her Back" on October 3rd, directed by the "Talk to Me" duo Danny and Michael Philippou. Viewers can also look forward to the debut of Eva Victor's critically acclaimed debut "Sorry, Baby" on October 30th, which she wrote, directed, and starred in.
