11 Mar
Summary
- Pearl V Puri may return to television after a four-year hiatus.
- The role is for the son of controversial character Ansh Gujral.
- Akashdeep Saigal was also considered for the part of Ansh's son.
The upcoming track of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is set to introduce a significant new character: the son of Ansh Gujral. Pearl V Puri is reportedly being considered for this pivotal role. Should he accept the part, it would signify his return to television after a nearly four-year absence, his last credit being the Naagin: Basant Panchami Special in 2022.
Intriguingly, Akashdeep Saigal, the original actor who portrayed the controversial Ansh Gujral, was also in discussions for his son's role. However, the casting did not progress. Pearl V Puri has a notable television history, having appeared in series like Naagin 3 and Brahmarakshas 2.
The introduction of Ansh's son is anticipated to introduce new conflicts and dynamics within the Virani family. Given Ansh's complex history, this character's arrival promises to reshape existing relationships and create dramatic confrontations within the narrative. Akashdeep Saigal recently returned to television himself in Naagin 7 after a nine-year break.
