Pawan Kalyan's OG Heads for Underwhelming Box Office Total
24 Oct
Summary
- OG opened to a huge 84.75 crore collection
- Film expected to earn 250-300 crore but will wrap up below 200 crore
- Facing a deficit of around 55 crores, considered a losing affair

On October 24th, 2025, the news emerges that Pawan Kalyan's latest film OG, which had a superb start, is now heading for an underwhelming total at the worldwide box office. The film, which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, and Prakash Raj, is nearing the end of its theatrical run and will soon be available on Netflix.
After a fantastic opening of 84.75 crores, the Tollywood magnum opus failed to maintain its momentum due to mixed reviews. By the end of its 8-day extended opening week, the film had accumulated 169.3 crores. However, it faced significant drops in the following weeks, earning only 18.5 crores in the second week and a mere 4.98 crores in the third week. In the fourth week, it further declined, earning an estimated 99 lakhs.
From its current position, OG is unlikely to make significant additional earnings and is expected to conclude its run below the 195 crore mark in net collection. Considering the reported budget of 250 crores, the film was expected to earn 250 crore net to enter the safe zone at the Indian box office, but it has failed to do so. As a result, the film is facing a deficit of around 55 crores, which is considered a losing affair.
