The situation escalated when the cab arranged for her departure reportedly left her abandoned on a footpath late at night.
Bystanders discovered a disoriented Pavala Shyamala and alerted the authorities. Police then facilitated her safe transfer to the RK Foundation, an organization where she had previously received free treatment for two to three years. Due to the foundation's lack of specialized cardiac services, she sought care elsewhere.
This is not the first instance of Pavala Shyamala facing health and financial challenges. In 2021, a fundraiser was initiated to support her, highlighting severe financial difficulties and her daughter's poor health. She had even sold her awards to manage daily expenses.
Producer Dil Raju has now intervened, assuring that Pavala Shyamala is receiving proper medical care at the hospital. He confirmed her health is stable, with necessary tests pending, and pledged continued support until her recovery.
