Paul McCartney will release his 18th studio album, 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane,' on May 29. This 14-track project is described as a deeply personal look back at his formative years.
The album's first single, 'Days We Left Behind,' is now available, featuring reflective lyrics about his past. The title itself references a road from his native Liverpool. McCartney, at 83, explores his childhood in postwar Liverpool with rare openness.
'The Boys of Dungeon Lane' was conceived five years ago with producer Andrew Watt. Recorded between tours in Los Angeles and England, the album is credited solely to McCartney, who played most instruments, showcasing musical eclecticism from rock to intimate storytelling.
