Patrick J. Adams, currently starring in The Madison on Paramount+, recently addressed his past role as Hourman in the 2016 DC series Legends of Tomorrow. When interviewed alongside his Madison co-stars Elle Chapman and Amiah Miller, Adams jokingly expressed his surprise that they were unaware of his brief superhero stint.
His character, Rex Tyler, appeared in two episodes. In the first, he warned the Legends of Tomorrow crew about their ship in 2016 before fading from existence. A younger version later appeared in 1942, and this iteration was ultimately killed by Reverse-Flash. Notably, Adams' Hourman never demonstrated his powers using Miraclo.
The actor's involvement in a superhero project from several years ago, during the height of his Suits fame, was not on his co-stars' radar. As The Madison has been renewed, Adams' past role is unlikely to impact his current series. With numerous superhero projects in development, Adams could potentially return to the genre in a new capacity.
