Patrick Dempsey gets script advice from children

Actor Patrick Dempsey, known for 'The Memory of a Killer,' shared insights into his family life during a recent appearance on 'Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.' He revealed that his adult children, daughter Talula, 23, and 18-year-old twins Darby and Sullivan, offer candid feedback on his scripts. Dempsey noted that his children's opinions are quite straightforward, significantly influencing his script choices.

Discussing his family, Dempsey mentioned that he and his wife, Jillian Dempsey, welcomed their daughter in 2002 and their twin sons a few years later. The actor described the experience of raising young adults as more demanding than caring for young children. He elaborated that while young adults strive for independence, parents must remain present to guide them through learning boundaries and making mistakes.

Last May, Dempsey proudly posted about his twin sons' high school graduation from the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California. Both Darby and Sullivan celebrated their achievements on social media, with Darby sharing photos of his diploma ceremony and his sister's presence. Their mother, Jillian, expressed her immense pride in their accomplishments.
