Pat Boone has listed his longtime Beverly Hills residence for $22 million, marking the end of a 66-year chapter of ownership. Boone and his late wife, Shirley, originally purchased the Colonial Revival home in 1960 for $159,000. The property, built in 1939, is situated on a 1.12-acre lot at the prominent corner of Beverly Drive and Sunset Boulevard.
The estate spans 7,032 square feet and includes six bedrooms and seven to eight bathrooms. It also features a guest house with one bedroom, a swimming pool, a recording studio, and extensive gardens. Boone noted that while the location was initially a concern due to its busy junction, the property's size and amenities for his four daughters were decisive factors in the purchase.
Boone has shared that many notable figures visited the estate, including friends Elvis Presley and Gregory Peck. The singer is now selling the property following Shirley Boone's passing in 2019. The current asking price represents a significant increase, approximately 138 times the original purchase price.
