Parvathy's Film Surges Past Previous Box Office Record

Parvathy's recent film, Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakar, has made a significant impact at the box office, outperforming her prior release, 'I, Nobody.' The police procedural drama experienced a gradual increase in its box office performance, largely attributed to positive audience feedback and critical reviews. This momentum allowed it to surpass the lifetime earnings of 'I, Nobody' within its initial release week.

The film reported an opening day collection of under a crore, but steadily grew, with weekly collections exceeding one crore. By its ninth day, Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakar had collected a net total of 14.48 crore, equating to 17.09 crore gross. This success marks a substantial achievement for the small-budget film, which also features actors like Vijayaraghavan and Mathew Thomas.

The narrative centers on Aleena, a woman who joins the police force after her husband's death. The plot thickens when a scuffle at the station leads to a cover-up by four officers. Directed by Shahad, known for 'Prakashan Parakkatte,' and scripted by P. S. Subramanian and Vijesh Thottingal, the film is produced by Arjun Selva.
