Bollywood Couple Parmeet and Archana Kept Marriage Secret Until Pregnancy

In a recent interview, veteran actor-filmmaker Parmeet Sethi reflected on the early days of his relationship with Archana Puran Singh. Parmeet, known for his work in films like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and as the director of 'Badmaash Company', is now also popular on social media for his vlogs with Archana and their family.

Parmeet revealed that he and Archana chose to keep their marriage a secret until Archana's pregnancy with their first child, Aaryamann. This was because, as Parmeet explained, "that was the time when actresses were offered no work if they got married." However, once Archana was pregnant, the couple officially announced their marriage.

Speaking about what has kept their relationship strong through the years, Parmeet said their partnership is grounded in friendship and understanding. "We don't get into the trap of being a typical husband-wife. Being friends with each other is very important. Of course, there will be problems, but you have to go into the friendship mode and talk it out. There's give and take as friends," he explained.

Now together for more than three decades, Parmeet and Archana continue to be admired for their candid bonding, banter, and love that they share.
