The facility, which Hilton attended as a teenager, had its operating license revoked by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services. This action came following allegations of neglect and misconduct, leading to the center's permanent closure.

Hilton shared her long-held desire for this outcome, emphasizing her goal to shield other children from the abuse she experienced. The school faced multiple noncompliant incidents, including failing to protect clients from staff mistreatment. Previously placed on conditional status in February 2025, the center's license was officially revoked, requiring termination of services within one month.
