On October 8, 2025, Paramount+ will premiere a three-part true crime docuseries titled "Don't Date Brandon." The docuseries, directed by Grace Chapman, follows two women, Amber and Athena, who speak up about their mutual ex-boyfriend, Brandon, and his manipulative behavior.
After sparking an online romance with Brandon, Amber initially believed he was the "perfect boyfriend" until she connected with his ex-wife, Athena. The women then launched a podcast to unpack the warning signs they had missed in their respective relationships with Brandon. This platform has given the opportunity for more women to come forward and share their own experiences with the manipulative ex-partner.
The docuseries is described as a story "about more than one man's lies... it's about survival, solidarity and the women who refused to stay silent." The project is a co-production between See It Now Studios and Wag Entertainment, with executive producers Steven Green and Eliya Aman for Wag, and Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong for See It Now.
