Neighbor Recalls Panettiere's Terrifying Abuse

A neighbor of Hayden Panettiere in West Hollywood has come forward with harrowing accounts of disturbances at the actress's apartment. The neighbor, Mia Terrazzas, reported calling 911 at least six times due to issues involving Panettiere and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. Terrazzas stated she observed Panettiere leaving the apartment on a gurney, appearing terrified and showing signs of battering.

Homeowners Association notices previously warned residents to report Hickerson's presence, though these were later removed. Panettiere's memoir, 'This Is Me: A Reckoning,' released earlier this year, documented physical abuse by Hickerson, who previously pleaded no contest to felony counts of injuring the actress and served 45 days in jail in 2021. Terrazzas alleged Hickerson exhibited destructive behavior, once using a sledgehammer at 5 a.m.

As investigations into Panettiere's death continue in Greenville, South Carolina, police reports indicate Hickerson and his brother were present when authorities pronounced her dead. The cause and manner of her death are pending further investigation, with no obvious signs of trauma noted initially. However, initial 911 calls reportedly mentioned "overdose" and "cardiac arrest," and the DEA has joined the investigation. Panettiere's mother, Lesley Vogel, publicly criticized Hickerson, stating their efforts to remove him from her daughter's life had been ongoing.
