Following her acclaimed role in 'The Last Showgirl' last year, she stars in the satirical dark comedy 'Rosebush Pruning,' directed by Karim Aïnouzhits and written by Efthimis Filippou. This film, which is now available in select U.S. theaters, explores a wealthy family's hedonistic isolation and the surfacing of hidden tensions.

Anderson portrays a deceased matriarch in 'Rosebush Pruning,' a role she found intriguing due to the script's unique and provocative nature. She noted the appeal of working with director Aïnouzhits and writer Filippou, who typically collaborates with Yorgos Lanthimos. Anderson views this current phase as a significant "second chance" in her career, emphasizing her commitment to giving her utmost effort and promoting her work.

Reflecting on her past, including iconic roles in 'Baywatch' and 'Home Improvement,' Anderson acknowledges how her personal life became tabloid fodder, which she felt limited her cinematic prospects. However, a Broadway role in 'Chicago' and her documentary 'Pamela, a Love Story' helped reintroduce her to audiences.
