Rock Legends Honor Ozzy Osbourne with Epic "War Pigs" Cover

On Sunday, February 1, a remarkable musical tribute took place in Los Angeles as Post Malone, Duff McKagan and Slash of Guns N' Roses, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed Black Sabbath's iconic song "War Pigs." The performance, which included Andrew Watt, was watched by a visibly emotional Sharon Osbourne and her children.

Sharon Osbourne described the event as a moment of musical history, emphasizing that rock music remains vibrant and evolving. She expressed her gratitude to the artists, acknowledging their mastery of their craft. She also shared that Ozzy Osbourne "was definitely in the building," referencing her late husband's spirit.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July 2022 at the age of 76, following a protracted battle with Parkinson's disease. His death certificate listed cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson's disease as contributing factors.

During a December 2025 interview, Sharon recounted Ozzy's final days, revealing he had dreams of encountering many unknown people. She shared his parting words to her the night before he died, describing a tender moment where he asked for a kiss and a tight hug.

Sharon found Ozzy after he had passed away the following morning. Despite resuscitation attempts and transport to the hospital, it was confirmed he was gone. Prior to his death, Ozzy defied doctor's orders to perform one last concert with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England, expressing his strong desire to do so.
