On November 3rd, 2025, MGM+ is set to premiere its highly anticipated new TV series "Robin Hood." The show brings a modern, gritty take on the classic story of the legendary outlaw hero who steals from the rich to give to the poor.
Jack Patten stars as Rob, a Saxon forester's son who rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws following the Norman invasion of England. Alongside him is Lauren McQueen as Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord, who infiltrates the royal court to work with Rob in their fight against corruption and injustice.
The 10-episode first season of "Robin Hood" promises to deliver a sweeping, romantic adventure that explores the epic love story between Rob and Marian as they strive to bring peace and freedom to their troubled land. The series also features a talented supporting cast, including Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Lydia Peckham as Priscilla of Nottingham, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.
Developed by Lionsgate Television and co-created by executive producers John Glenn, Jonathan English, and Todd Lieberman, "Robin Hood" aims to bring historical authenticity and psychological depth to the beloved tale of the legendary outlaw hero.
